Hi All,

I have done mass load of elements to ENDEVOR from PDS (More than 20000 elements). Now I want to verify if all the elements in the PDS are present in ENDEVOR. Is there any tool or option in ENDEVOR to perform this task?

Thanks
Amith

While doing the ADD into Endevor there is an option to delete the source code from the PDS. IF you do this then adding component to endevor succesfully will delete the module from the PDS.

After completion check whether still any component left in the PDS, if exists then that component was not added to Endevor.

Thanks for your reply!

I haven't used that option because I want to reatin the elements in the PDS due to some reasons. As I already loaded elements into the ENDEVOR, is there still any other option to verify them?

Thanks
Amith

Option #1:In Endevor there is PRINT option.
In this you can print and capture all the component inventory of the subsystem.
Now you have 2 reports with info:
1. List of components from Endevor
2. Generate list of members from your PDS
Compare this two list and find out what has been missed.

Option #2:
Just do a compare of Endevor components with your source PDS.
In this comparison summary report all the components should match 100% provided all source elements were added to Endevor.

There could be many other option you can explore.

Hello,

If you create a duplicate copy of the pds, you can delete members as they are moved, but still have a full copy to retain. Once the members are all moved, the "extra" pds might be deleted/renamed.
