Hello,
Please clarify what you are asking for - it is not clear (to me ).
You might look in the assembler forum. . . |

Hello,
Now it is more clear
First, are you interested in application code or "system" code? While the language is the same, the knowledge requirements are someshat different. For example, folks who write system code usually need to know more about how the system really works and have a deeper knowledge of control blocks while application developers will use business arithmetic (packed-decimal instructions) more than people who support system code.
When i was interviewing assembler programmers (many years ago), the things i would ask related to the kind of work they had done and what their interests were. For our purpose, i did not spend much time asking about syntax. From a candidate's responses, i could tell whether they would be a good fit for one of my teams. Back then, there were many more assembler opportunities . . .
I'm not aware of a current list of assembler interview questions, but will keep an eye out for such.
Good luck |
