your restarting from step3
but ur are not doing any thing in step1 just coping from ps to ps

r u using that data set in step3?

if u were not using , i wont give error

if steps are interrelated on that time if any previous step is abended,
we cann't restart from that step onwards

Hello,

Even if you cannot submit, you can post the jcl you are asking about. Depending on what is in your jcl, it may or may not work.

To post your jcl, please ust the "Code" tab at the top of the Reply panel. You can do a "Preview" to make sure your post appears the way you want it to.

I am intrigued here.

You are not allowed to submit jobs, yet you are asking questions regarding Job Control Language.

Am I being cynical, or are my thoughts of HOMEWORK wrong ?

I dont think there will be any error, because restart parameter is meant for this thing only. Even to execute random steps u can use a utility viz. IEBEDIT
