Hello,
Please talk with your system support people. Different sites have different generics and esoterics. They can tell you what unit name values are acceptable to use in your environment.
A unit name can be a generic device type, an esoteric unit name, or a physical device. Some common names are SYSDA, SYSSALLDA, DISK, 3380, 3390, etc. |

Hi,
Yes, As specified by our friends it is location ( Site ) dependent and Installation dependent too.. its better to contact your system administrator to know what possible values / clauses could be specified in UNIT parameter. |
