The position is for a systems analyst for the Lighting Order management systems. Analyst will work on projects as well as daily support for O/M systems (Example: OE, Billing, EDI interfaces). Daily support includes off hours batch support as well as real time problem resolution.
Analyst will be responsible for all phases of project management including; listen, design, development, testing, and implementation.
Candidate must work with the GE Cons/Ind staff, both IT and internal and external business clients, to implement appropriate new applications and/or changes to existing applications.
The candidate should be able to write technical specifications based on business requirements. The candidate must be prepared to work extended India business hours (until 10pm IST) to support critical operational needs on all GE Cons/Ind work days and should be reachable 24/7 when there are emergencies (like system outage conditions).
