Description
For this opening there are two broad categories:
1-5 yrs-SE,SSE
5+ yrs-Consultant/TL
IMS Exp. is required extensively,as John Deere,Pune uses IMS in all their Mainframe projects.
?Should have 2-4 years of IT experience.
?At least 2 year of experience in database administration, design, development, testing & deployment in IMS.
?Pluses: UNIX skills (shell scripting), DB2 (UDB) or other ANSI sql compliant databases.
?Performance Tuning in specific databases.
?MVS CLISTS, FileAid/IMS Utility use, DB2 Concepts, IMS Control Region Jcl / Functions, IMS Security Gens.
?Should have exposure to working with onsite teams in an onsite-offshore model.
?Above Average communication skills.
?Should have the required skills in IMS: IMS Database Concepts (Phys Org, Logical Org), IMS Online Programming Concepts, IEBUPDTE use, IMS Control Block Generation Utilities, IMS Reorg Utilites, IMS Space Management Utilities, IMS Backup / Recovery Uti! lities, IMS DCMonitor Analysis.
Qualifications
B. E. / B. Tech / M. Tech / MCA / M. Sc. (IT or CS)
