Emulater connects a PC with Mainframe by interpreting your ASCII codes into EBCDIC Codes.

Examples:

Passport
TN3270
QW3270
Q3270
Nexus

Search in Google to download the Emulator trials.

I heard that ibmmainframes.com has also developed one emulator called IBMMF3270.

Emulator: This is a program that performs the same operation of another program or a piece of hardware.

I'll leave it up to you to use something like Google to find more details, since the answer depends on what you wish to emulate.
