Hello,

Please clarify what you are asking.

What do you mean by "test mainframe file"?

Many types of mainframe files may be directly ftp'd to a unix system. Some cannot.

What kind of file(s) are you going to send to the unix system? How do you intend to "test" it on the unix system?

ramaganta...

As Mr. D. said already... you need to clarify what do you mean by "test"...

Mainframes files can be transferred to a Unix Box via FTP/SFTP... but what is that you want to test... icon_question.gif

Check? As in validate contents? As in validate existence? As in a unix executable looking at datasets on the mainframe?
