hello friends,

i am kumar, new to mainframe. i want to know about sysda. can anybody provide more information on this.

Kumar,

SYSDA is a value for UNIT parameter in JCL, which you use to specify the DEVICE for the datasets. It may not be same across all the shops so its better if you confirm somebody from your admin team.
