i m getting this error please let me know why this has occured

IGZ0020S A logic error occurred. Neither FILE STATUS nor a declarative was spec
RM2960 at relative location X'983C'. The status code was 48.
From compile unit RM2960 at entry point RM2960 at compile unit offset +
address 39909984.

Hi,
The file status 48 occurs because of the following reason:
The execution of a WRITE statement was attempted on a file not open in the I-O, output, or extend mode.

Check the mode of the file opened.
