I am loading a file of Swift messages to the mainframe from a network using C : D. I want to have one Swift message per record on the mainframe. However I cannot stop the Swift field delimiter X'0D25' acting as a record delimiter so I end up with 1 swift message spread over many records on the mainframe each record containing one field of the swift message. Each Swift message on the PC is delimited by a '$' sign.
So basically I want C : D to treat the x'0D25' as data and use the '$' as the delimiter. Can anybody help please. |

Have you considered pulling in the data in binary mode, and then translating it from ASCII to EBCDIC using your own translation algorithm? |
