Hi all,
I have a doubt in RCT entry.
I have coded an new cics db2 program, i have cloned this from an existing program. The new program is almost same as the cloned program. My doubt is should i create an RCT entry for the new program.
this is the first time i am coding in CICS, hence can any one help me in this.
Thanks,
Sujesh. |

Hello,
There are probably standard ways to do this on your system that should be followed. Suggest you speak with a senior or a cics support person to learn how this should be done on your system. Answers from a forum cannot make proper suggests considering your site standards as we are not aware of them. |

Technically no need to create new RCTs as long as your cloned program going to use the same RCT entries.
But, as Dick suggests, it might be site specific. So you better talk to your seniors
