Hi everyone,
I have installed IBM webSphere MQ 6 trial version and Host Intergration Server 2006 Trial on my windows XP system.I use SNA sever to connect to OS390 host.
SNA server is configured such that the connection is active and ther is a session between two lu62 which for local lu62 I defined lu62 defined under the PU and for remote lu62 I use the one which is defined under APPC address space in mainfram.
I defined a cpi-c symbolic name with this specifications:
TP name MQSERIES
Partner LU alias name MVS (MVS is alias of the remote lu62 name)
Mode name LU62PS which is a mode defined in the host for parallel session support.
in the channel definision I refered to this cpi-c name as connection name in the channel lu62 listener
unfortunately by starting the channel it will stop by this error:
Event Type: Error
Event Source: WebSphere MQ
Event Category: None
Event ID: 9210
Date: 3/26/2008
Time: 11:51:06 AM
User: N/A
Computer: WindowsXP
Description:
Remote attachment failed.
There was an incoming attachment from a remote host, but the local host could not complete the bind.
The return code from the CPI-C (cmaccp) call was 20 (X'14'). Record these values and tell the systems administrator who should check the CPI-C configuration.
Maybe I need to define a side object in host?
is there any publication which explain in detail both configuration in windows and OS390(ZOS) to connect these two operation system using MQSeries LU62 Channels? |

We are strictly IP now, but I see an old MQ entry in our APPCSIDE file for an LU62 connection. I didn't configure that early connection. Good luck. |

Hi,
I am using tcp channels right now for comunicating between windows systems and mainframe but I prefer (due to network restrictions) to change it to lu62 connection.
one hint which I am getting closer to it is that may I should change to windows 2000 or 2003 (server?)
I wait to hear from you
regrads
