Hi friends,
How to access the last record in the KSDS using RANDOM access mode without using KEY. I dont know the key size..

| I'm pretty sure that there's no way and that you have to read the file sequentially from the top until you reach EOF. But, I'll defer to the VSAM experts in case I'm wrong. |

A simple IDCAMS LISTCAT will at least tell you that much.
But ......... without knowing the key value it does rather look like a long sequential trudge though the file. |
