What is fileaid and xpeditor?

I want the details of fileaid & xpeditor? What is the meaning of these & how are they used?

Hi jpreddy & welcome to the Forums,

I would not say that your query is too general..but yeah enough general to make this thread a wikipedia.

FILEAID is a third party tool used on Mainframes. As in Microsoft world on Your Personal Computer you can install 'Photoshop', 'MAYA' to work on animation(they don't come with Microsoft Windows Installation CD)..same in Mainframes FILEAID can be installed on your site by your system guys, to make your work easy (To get the definition of easy, you have to do bit labour in learning the FILEAID)

Xpeditor is usually used to Debug programs on Mainframes, so in a crude sense you can say it's a Debug Tool.

Ah..I just gave an idea about all these, search through these forums with the Key word "FILEAID" & "Expeditor"..you'll get a lot of threads.
