Hi all,
What are the possible problems/issues that we should consider for the Migration of a DB2 Application (in IBM Mainframe) to its PC equivalent ?
The Application is a COBOL - CICS - DB2 Application
It should be migrated in to any of the following platforms.
a. LINUX
b. UNIX
or c. Windows
COBOL and DB2 are available in all platforms. What about CICS ? Can we communicate with the CICS system without any interface (as we are doing in a typical OS/390 Application) ?
Please post your suggestions, guidelines or helpful websites / whitepapers .
