Hello All,
My requirement isvery simple.
I had written few utlity programs, in my earlier project, and i need them to use in my current tasks of SUPPORT. Since, they were written by me and for me and not for the clients, i own the piece of code.
In my current assignment as I am in support alone, I am not granted access to create packages in CHANGEMAN. They have configured the Environment , in such a way that. access to IGYCRCTL or IGYWCL are restricted.
So I was in need to transfer my load module from my other system to the new system.
THe Prpgram was basically an COBOL Pogram ,in which iam capturing information of JOB stats and I have formatted the output in the my desired template.
SO in this case, Where i have the sorce code alone ! but no compile access. THerefore, i thought i could use the Load module and complete my task effectively..........

If you wrote this while being paid and used a mainframe to compile/test, there may be a difference of opinion. . .
Suggest you speak with you manager about importing the source and properly compiling the code for your current environment. If this code would benefit the group, your manager would quite possibly appreciate having this available.
If your manager will not arrange for this (or even refuses), i'd suggest not trying to sneak around the system as it may cause you problems. If you don't have access to compile, i doubt the management will be happy if you bring this in some load module on your own.

If you are a contractor, you might want to reread your contract.
