Hi,
I am unable to locate the programs like ASMA90/BFXTR to execute.
I searched in the default system libraries like sys1.linklib
I am able to find some programs like IEBGENER.
Can anyone please suggest the complete default libraries.
Thanks in advance.
Thanks,
Konda. |

Hi,
To use ASMA90 to compile Assembler programs you can use
IBM supplied procedures directly ASMAC for compiling and ASMACL for compiling and linking. It will be in SYS1.PROCLIB. Not sure it will be different for other shops.
I am not sure about BFXTR.

Hi,
Thanks for your reply/Time.
I searched all the members in the proclib 'SYS1.PROCLIB' but none of the procedure is using ASMA90 program.
I want to execute some programs but I am not able to find where they are!
Thanks,
Konda. |

Are you sure you are using high level assembler (ASMA90 is the one for HLASM)? Try finding CWPAMAIN (it's a long shot alternative for ASMA90, since it is installation specific; we use in conjunction with SAS).
IBM provides sample sources, links etc. to demonstrate HLASM; usually all of them will be available in SYS1.ASM.*, though this is not a standard for every installation. For example, ASMA90 (and other ASMAxx series modules) would be available in SYS1.ASM.AASMMOD1.
Sorry if it doesn't help. |

Is there any other ibm supplied procedures to generate DBD's and PSB's?
Thanks,
Konda. |
