Hello,
To display a table, I have a panel with )MODEL lines and I use TBDISPL.
Everything works fine, but now I would like to leave a static area at the bottom of the screen to show some text (a little bit like the PFSHOW lines, but with my own text).
Somebody have any idea ? |

ISPF did not like the idea
If I could limit the number of lines in the panel, then I could display my lines in the background.
But the )MODEL lines always expand till the bottom of the screen. |

I tried:
)BODY WINDOW(80,20)
It works for the body only, it doesn't count the )MODEL lines |

hy Marso,
actually this is not possible using )MODEL,
you just can try to define any dynamic area...
but this is a little bit complex because you have
to deal with all the area yourself.

I noticed a mistake with my original response. When I was looking at the section in the ISPF Dialog guide concerning tables, I thought it had stated that you could code multiple )MODEL definitions in your panel. Actually, it says that in your one )MODEL section you can have multiple model rows. |
