Hi Friends:
Good Morning All.
I have a system requirement that every fortnightly I have to check the %ge of scpace occupied by data in a database table and if it crocess more then 83% of the total space then I have to add some more cylinders to maintain the <=83% of the total space.
Before adding cylinders I need to chech the availability of space(cylinders).
For this purpose there is some QW(Quick Watch) facility and in that S option is there.
Could anyone plz come forward to help me?
Thanks in Advance |

Hi ,
Type QW anywhere like comand prompt, spool etc.. and it will take you to the Quick Facility screen. There you select option S.
Then specify what you need.
Hope this helps. |

The Qw command and then S option is all good to know the space availability on my volume.
When I display the details, it shows so many volume serial numbers and all under one device type .
How can I know to which volume my JCL is attached, so that accordingly I can know the free space and add cylinders?
Please clarify this one |
