I think an appropriate answer is going to depend on where (in what country) you would be taking a job and in what capacity (i.e. what type of job function).
For example, if you were looking for a job as a Change Control or QA Analyst, and that company uses Changeman as their tool for managing change, then it would not be unreasonable to expect you to have an in-depth background and years of experience with the Changeman tool.
On the other hand, if you were looking for a job at the same company as a Programmer Analyst, then I would think that as long as you understood the concepts and requirements for change control, then that should be sufficient. They would most likely have to provide internal training anyway to show you how the Changeman product is used within their environment. |
