Question should be more clear. Do you mean to restart a job which is in ABENDed status in CA7.

For info: CA7 also allows to restart a job even though the job is not ABENDed

For abended job, you need to take help of XQM panel. If it doesn't have CA11 tracking in your CA7 tool.

STEP 1.

Go to XQM panel of the ABEND
XQM,JOB=JOBNAME

STEP 2.

Now you are in XQM panel screen for that job.
Put E beside the command.

E XQM,JOB=JOBNAME

This will take you in EDIT mode.

STEP 3.

Put the RESTART card in the job.

STEP 4.

F3 to save and exit

STEP 5.
Go back to XQM panel.

XQM,JOB=JOBNAME

and place a F beside that.
F XQM,JOB=JOBNAME

STEP 6.
Write the REASON for restarting. And u find job restarting.
