Hi All,

First of all thanks for all your kind support.

There are couple of IMS DB programs tacking more time in my shop. They are having checkpoint logic. These programs are consuming high MIPS.

I want to tune these programs to reduce MIPS consumption.

1. Increasing the checkpoint frequency, will it helps?

2. What are the things that I need to consider while tuning these programs?

Any pointers or thought process will help me.

Thanks in advance.
