Hi all,
Can some body help me out in telling how to find out which user has created the data set?
I have tried using 3.4 option but it gave volume, creation date, exp date etc., but not the user. |

The creator id of the dataset will be in system audit log.
Only system admin or smf support people have access to view the creator of the that particular dataset.
In 3.4,you can only view the last modified used id.
Hope this helps. |

I am little bit confussed here. As per my understanding, we can not see last modified user id in 3.4 for dataset. I may be wrong.
If yes then I will be very glad if you tell me how we can see the userid.
Thanks in advance

rupesh,
For partition datasets you can see the last changed user id of members inside it, at the right hand side as a seperat column ID.not for flat files. |

You need to read SMF records. Again, consult your system programmers.
A note regarding members statistics: This statistics is part of ISPF, and you can not trust it to be true: Not everybody use STAT ON, and anyway you can alter this info using your menu or with the LMMSTATS service.
