I am trying to understand lock compatibility matrix that has been illustrated on page 5 of following link,
share.confex.com/.../Understanding%20IMS%20Locking.pdf

Is this a complete locking compatibility matrix?
Can someone plz provide details of how this works at block level?
Is it that a 2-read level lock (uncommitted read) acquired on a block (CI area) can allow another 2-read, 3-erase, 4-share, 6-update but not 8-exclusive?

Also, can you also list which procopt will be applicable for each lock level mentioned below?
2 – read
3 – erase
4 – share
6 – update
8 - exclusive
