After migrating our system from Z1.4 to Z1.11 we have encountered with problem in our system. During peak day we see large number of CCTLSNAP in our CICS outputs. All CCTLSNAPs have same PSW entry. There is no abend in system log or CICS log. We don't have any performance issue, and end user applications work well. We have IMS DBCTL v11 and CICS TS v4.1.
Is there any way to find out what's wrong with IMS or which program or transaction has problem? Or is it possible to force IMS or CICS to produce SDUMP instead of SNAP? |

Do you know if there is any way to read this SNAP to find useful information? or create a dump that can be read by IPCS instead of SNAP? |

Thank you PeterHolland, We solved the problem by tuning MAXPST value to sum of our CICS region's MAXTHRDs. |
