Hi,
I would like to know the jobs and parmlib members that were modified/added since a year. Please let me know if there is any option in endevor to support this.
Thanks,
Sarath |

First time I have heard of jobs being held on Endevor or parmlibs (whatever they are).
Have you asked your Endevor support? Have you checked the Endevor manuals? Have you checked the Endevor on-line help - probably the least likely of the places but ALWAYS worth trying FIRST? |

Hello,
Suggest you open an issue with Endevor Support. |

Hello,
This is not a straight forward approach as it involves some programming to get the required output.
Here is the approach.
From "Endevor SCM Primary Options Panel" --> "BATCH - Perform batch action processing" --> "1 BUILD SCL - Build batch SCL actions" --> "PRINT ELEMENT - Print elements, changes and detail change history" --> Select your elements and type in PS "PS - Print element summary"
PF3 a few times till you reach the "Batch Options Menu" --> "SUBMIT - Submit job for batch processing" --> the output job will have the details of the all the elements that were selected.
You have to write a program to parse the job output and get the list of members changed since a specific date. Only the summary of elements are printed in the job, not the entire element.
If you are fairly familiar with Endevor, you should not have much difficulty with the above steps. If you are stuck at some point, revert back with your doubt, someone would be able to help you.
Hope it helps. |
