Is it your real time requirement? For file processing in IMS environment we use to use BMP programs. So that you can post accumulated batch transactions to an online database. Will it solve your problem. I haven't ever seen a dc MPP pgm accessing a file. Please correct me if am wrong.

@itssreehere: neither have I ever seen an MPP accessing an OS file. That's the reason they developed GSAM. Please remove your email address from your profile; if you don't they will do it for you in your posts. |

For detailed information examine the manual on this site and look for chapter: 3.2 Accessing Databases With Your IMS Application Program. This will supply you with a full list of possibilities. |
