Hi,

I am facing a strange issue. I can scroll through my jcls and stuff using f7 and f8 keys. but when i go into a file, it does not allow me scroll through the file. very weird. any ideas? i checked the settings in KEYS option and i didn't find anything different when i compared to others settings.

and it happens only with my id. when i login to mainframe with others id on my machine, it works. so its got to do something with my personal settings for my id.

Please suggest.

PRIVATE ISR Keylist ISRSAB Change Row 1 to 12 of 24
Command ===> Scroll ===> CSR

Make changes and then select File action bar.

This is what it shows when i get into KEYS option.

Can you elaborate on what 'go into' means? What panel are you on when you press F7/F8?

What happens when you press F7 of F8? Are any messages produced?

Go into means -> browsing a file in 3.4
I am in browsing a file in browse mode when I am using F7/F8 keys.

And there are no messages produced, it just do anything.

But if i enter, any number, say 22 and press F8, it takes me 22 rows below and similarly sideways. But with simple F7/F8, it does not scroll through the file.

Look at the value in the Scroll field. Most likely you set it to zero. Been there done that...

beat me to it...

It was worse to put 0001 in there, because at least it worked a LITTLE bit and it took longer to get frustrated enough to find it.
