We are supposed to increase the database size by 50%. We want to know how much do we increase in the RAA ROOT parm?
Current parm size is below,
UOW=(50,5), ROOT=(1030,50)
What would be the calculation for arriving at the new values in UOW and ROOT parms? |

Hello and welcome to the forum,

If the information given at that link is "too technical" there will be ongoing problems trying to administer the database environment. . . What in that info did you not understand?

That would depend on your environment and expected growth or reduction.
If you have no one who understands these settings, suggest you hire someone or rent someone for dealing with this or training some/one of you that are already onsite. |
