Hi all,
I have searched in this for AZI2 abend but i did not get any information.
I have very poor in CICS. But i got the work why daily the transaction is abending with AZI2 abend.
I have verified in the abend manual and found that there are lot of reasons for this abend:
* The transaction running in the connected system has been purged,
or
* The transaction running in the connected system has been timed
out, or
* The abending transaction has attempted to SEND while in RECEIVE
state, or
* The abending transaction has attempted to RECEIVE while in SEND
state.
Please any one help me out what is the reason for this abend.
Thanks in Advance. |

1. Logon to a CICS region.
2. Clear the screen, enter CMAC and press <Enter>.
3. On the second screen line, enter AZI2 and press <Enter>.
4. The explanation for this abend-code is displayed.
Your can also consult the CICS Messages and Codes manual for your given CICS Version/Release.
BTW, I Googled AZI2 and got many hits.
Thanks in advance....

Hi Bill,
Thanks for your quick response.
I have searched and found the following onfo:
If the error was caused by a condition such as an attempted
SEND while in RECEIVE state or vice versa, analyze the dump
and correct the protocol violation.
I mean I want to know hoe to analyse the dump and how to resolve the issue. |

How much experience do you have with IPCS? It is NOT a simple product to learn to use to analyze dumps. You would be best served by getting your site support group to assist you. |
