Hi,
one of my sort step is failing with below error.i tried running by giving work files but still it failed.
+ICE046A-SORT CAPACITY EXCEEDED record count-nnnnnnnnn
some please help me in this regard

,32 out of a possible ,255 is not very many.
but insure that the install parms do not dictate that there can be no override to the default number of sort work files. |

Add the following to your job:
//SORTDIAG DD DUMMY
to get the diagnostic messages.
Then rerun it and post the complete JES log (or send it to me offline) and I'll take a look. |
