Hi,

I get following error in SMPOUT when i use RECEIVE ORDER command to download a fix:
GIM48200S ** RECEIVE PROCESSING WAS NOT ABLE TO REMOVE THE /tmp/SMPE2011320083912386509/ DIRECTORY.

In SYSPRINT

/bin/sh -c /usr/lpp/local/java/J5.0/bin/java -Dcom.ibm.smp.debug=severe -showversion -cp /usr/lpp/smp/classes/ com.ibm.smp.GIMJVCLT

atoe_getcwd error: EDC5134I Function not implemented.
java version "1.5.0"

And

> /bin/rm -r /tmp/SMPE2011320083912386509/

rm: FSUM7283 rm: fatal error during "-r" option: EDC5134I Function not implement
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------
DATE 11/16/11 TIME 08:44:33 SMP/E GIMJVCLT OUTPUT SMP/E 35.27

terminate

Now as this rm -r command is not able to delete the directory the RECEIVE command failed.

My home directory is /u/userid.

Please help in identifying the problem.

Thanks in advance. [/img]

Hello,

Suggest you have the admin review your permissions and revise as necessary.

Hi,

I manually deleted the said directory from ISHELL and re-ran the job and it worked.

I then again ran the RECEIVE ORDER for other fixes and it is running just fine.
Trying to understand why the error occurred in first place.

Hunny

Hello,

As i mentioned earlier - i suspect it has to do with permissions.

Hopefully your sysadmin can tell hyou why. . .
