Hi,
Can any one help me to know, is there any possible ways to display the running digial clock at the right corner of a panel. That clock should automatically updated with out inputting any PF keys....!
Thanks and Regards,

I think this belongs to the category. "thing which maybe possible, but should not be implemented/attempted"
If implemented, It has the potential to waste a lot of mainframe resources for a trivial task.
Alternatively, You could opt for a PC based solution like QLOCK(http://www.qlock.com/recommend.php?dl=qlock&src=download) which is highly customisable for all time zones with slick interface. |

You are aware, I hope, that a 3270 screen (unlike a PC) waits for user input BEFORE taking any action, including updating fields on the screen. It may be possible to do something like you want, but it would be a tremendous waste of mainframe procesing power, require some extremely advanced programming (probably in VTAM), and the benefit would be inconsequential compared to the cost. If the time is so important to your site, tell people to put their PC clock in a window that stays on top of everything else. |

Check your emulator. Many of them will display the TOD in the status line. |
