Title: Software Engineer-Mainframe
Job Responsibilities:
· Requirement analysis, estimation of effort, project/module design, and program pecifications.
· Design and implement applications in mainframe environment (ES9000, OS/390) to implement product features.
· Report to assistant systems manager.
· Responsible for systems analysis, design, coding, testing support and implementation for medium size application.
· Support both project development and maintenance activities.
· Prepare and maintain documentation as well as ensure the application is in compliance with corporate standards and procedures.
· Perform primarily banking related applications in a mainframe environment (ES9000, OS/390).
Requirements:
· Minimum 2 years working experience in mainframe MVS environment and be either familiar with COBOL, DB2, CICS, VSAM, JCL, OR COBOL, CICS, JCL, IMS
· Experienced with SDLC process with knowledge of banking software/application is an added advantage
· Team player, responsible, flexible, and work well under pressure.
· BS/MS degree in Computer Science or equivalent major.
· Must be fluent in oral, reading and written English.
