Hello,
I have used NDM "once" and the way it works is(willing to be corrected here),
the NDM software is installed on both sending and receiving nodes.
Only the sending and receiving nodes are referenced in the NDMPROC by
SNODE= and PNODE=
I think that the network is mapped on the NM option in the CONNECT:Direct PRIMARY OPTIONS and the nodes are referenced on the job. |

@Vasanth - We are actually converting the FTP jobs to NDM jobs. Wanted to know how to map the IP address in FTP card to NDM card.
Any further details also would help.
Thanks. |

NDM does not use IP address in the contral cards for each job.
NDM has a couple of vsam files
(for each environment with which you wish to communicate)
that maintain the base details (of which IP address is one).
you can not simply convert from FTP to NDM without understanding how NDM works.
they are two completely different interfaces to the same type of process.
Vasanth understood your question and gave you a good answer.
you need to either contact one of you support people and ask them how to do it
since it is obvious that you have NFI
or RTFM
consider that above as further details. |

ask Your support, they know the <node> names and the mapping to the IP address
it' s all part of the NDM customization/setup process and standard definitions across Your organization
we do not belong to Your organization and we do not know |
