Hello,
Suggest it is completely unreasonable to expect a 6-year-old link to still be working. . .
What do you want to know? Do you know what ims/dc is? Do you know what cics is?
If you don't know what they are the question really cannot be answered in such a way that would help.
If you do know what they are, you know the difference. . . |

CICS is much easier - IMS DC is much more powerful - quicker - etc.  |
