I need to define a sequential file having 10 fields. Each field has a variable length of 8.
Can this file be created thru JCL.
Pls help.

| I don't understand what you're trying to do. Please show an example of what you want the records in the file to look like, and explain what you mean by "each field has a variable length of 8". |
