I want to rename the current active log VSAM dataset.
Please give the step by step procedure since I am new to DBA.

Renaming the active log dataset is not something you have to do every day.
In fact I never had to do that. |

We have 150 subsystem in our environment.
so restarting db2 twice will be cumbersome task.
So Let me know some other alternative solution. |

Hello,
Why does someone believe this is even necessary. . .
Many (most?) places do not do this regularly if at all.
Why does your system need this 150 places. . .
If this is actually to be done, suggest you follow the already documented/accepted method and not implement something else. |
