Hi,
I had a Interview question asked:
A mapset has three maps and same transaction defined for all maps.
Now I need to trigger the third screen directly from the transaction.
My observation:Always i encountered only the first screen from the given transaction then i navigate using the PFkeys marked to it.
Please let me know the answer. |

in IT using proper terminology is essential for reciprocal understanding
Quote: |
a mapset had three maps |
ok
Quote: |
same transaction defined for all maps |
means nothing
You define a transaction, and the first program associated to it
You define furtrthermore all the other user program entities used
in this case the mapset
CICS will know only the MAPSET, nothing about the MAPS
there is no explicit relation between mapsets and transactions
( You do not tell CICS the mapset/map/transaction relation )
a transaction/program will just USE a mapset/map object

means nothing
You display/send a mapset/map object
You display the third map exactly as You would with the first two...
based on the program logic and issuing the appropriate EXEC CICS SEND |
