the question as posed does not make any sense!
in what context are the terms used....
in a contextless environment the two terms are not related!
in cryptography
a master key is the key under which all the other keys used are encrypted
or the first key of a multi key encryption system
in database/data management
a unique key is the <thing> that uniquely identifies a row/record!
so You see that You have a loong way to explanations in order to get a proper answer |

Hello,
A "unique" key does not allow duplicate entries.
A Datacom table may have a Master Key and Native Key. You need to read about these in the DBA documentation for your release of Datacom.
Suggest you also look at a CXX report for a few databases and see how these have been used on your system. |
