I am getting the following error when I try to open the edit dataset through QMF by issuing the ED command...
DSQ22454
for this we have to issue the TSO command
TSO ALLOCATE DDNAME(DSQEDIT)
UNIT(SYSVIO) NEW
I wanted to ask is there a permanent solution to this ...I mean can I add this command in some member so that there is no need to issue this command every time a user logins in mainframe.
Thanks |

Talk to your DB2 support people. The DSQEDIT dd statement needs to be added to the procedure (either CLIST or Rexx) that starts QMF. |
