Hi,

I'm trying to unload a DB2 table which has 5 columns and one column is of BLOB data type (having XML data) to a flat file using BMC UNLOAD utility.

UNLOAD SHRLEVEL REFERENCE
SELECT * FROM table1

Where I'm receiving below error.

BMC51605E FOR FIELD 'DOC_XML_TXT', DATA TYPE 'BLOB ..' IS INCOMPATIBLE WITH COLUMN DATA TYPE 'BLOB' OR LENGTH

Could you please help us what kind of conversion need to be specified to unload this table into flat file?

Thanks in advance.

Last I knew, BMC Unload did not support the unload of any LOB types unless the value of the column was null or had a zero length. But that was a while ago.
