Could anyone please let me know how to open the existing map ..is it through mapc??(after Mapc the the steps are???)
I want to open it in editable mode so that I can add another field also...

Hello,

As you have been working with idms for more than a year, hopefully you have downloaded the documentation. If your organization is licensed to use the product, all of the material may be downloaded free from CA Support.

Suggest you look in the documentation. . .

We have a few idms contributors, but not so many. . .

Hello,

Is there some reason all of the manuals have not been downloaded?

Suggest someone do this now. . .

yes, dick as the application is using IDMS,hence CLient is authorised to use the product.we are not sure whether client has the documents r not..but we have colelcted all the batch documents from freinds or peers like that..Prabably DBAs have the document, but they donot share...

Thanks for you concern...

Hello,

Good to hear it is working.

Not the way to get complete/current documentation icon_sad.gif

You should be able to register with CA Suypport and download the material yourself. There is no need to share copies of others. Possibly you could remind the client that they are paying for all of the time people need to resolve rather basic issued. . .
