i have one requirement we need to create one static terminal,its exclusive for one user in cics.
i have installed the terminal in cics but it is not working,so please suggest me for this issue |

i have installed terminal in cics
terminal name is term
typeterm is dfh3270
netname is cicstest
and also i have created the one member(cicstest1) in sys1.vtamlst for vtam definition for cics
CICSTEST VBUILD TYPE=APPL APPLICATION MAJOR NODE
CICSTEST APPL EAS=30, ACBNAME=CICSTEST,
AUTH=(ACQ,VPACE,PASS),
PARSESS=YES,
SONSCIP=YES,
VPACING=5
the node is not activated i have tried the vary command but the msg shows in cics
CICS1 D990 CSNE Node CICSTEST not activated. VTAM RETURN CODE 1000 |

I'm assuming you have other teminals in CICS that work. Just copy
one of those definitions.
or call in an outside consultant. |
