Hey if i m having 3 steps in a jcl and my first step is getting JCL error , so is there any way to run the other 2 steps of JCL, will COND= EVEN will work for this case.

if a job is getting a jcl error nothing will executed after the jcl error has occurred/diagnosed ! |

Have you read what COND=EVEN means?
Be very particular about the words in its definition and what they mean.

i know cond = even is for abend but i thought that may be it can work... |

Queations having "may/may not" in their body can easily be asnwered by a small experiment by your own, you know. Why not just try that, what you've asked for! |

Why does "production" jcl have an error?
Fix the jcl (or the dataset problem causing the error) and resubmit. . . |

Ankit - I believe, you understand that "JCL error" and "abend" has different meanings from JCL per se. They both are not "same"! |
