Hi,

i have load card (LOAD REPLACE) which loads to table X. One of the columns (say Y) in the table receive spaces through the input file. I need to populate this field with a preset value 'SOURCE'. Can this be achieved by any keywords in the control card ? Or do i have to populate it in the input file and then load into the table/ write an update query for updating that column ?

Thanks
Karthick

Can you please elaborate your requirement? You are saying that you want preset the value "SOURCE" in the one of the column. Do you mean to say prefix the string "SOURCE" to the value coming from the file?
