Whn DFHSM is tryin to write on the tape (virtuals) ,Tape MGMT (CA1) is rejecting it ...TO my surprise when I am tryin to write on tape ,its allowing ..Tape mgmt is rejecting only when HSm is asking for tape ..
Following error Is coming in DFHSM log

So what happens when you followed the suggestions in the advice:

I am changing the status but again its picking diff vols n rejecting them ..
As there are thousand in virtuals,they are getting rejected |

Check UNIT name settings in DFHSM parmlib are valid for the new virtual units perhaps, and possibly the EXITON/EXITOFF parameters to ensure the CA1 interface exit is active? |
