HI all
i want to delete set of datasets which were migrated .i mean without recalling them to DASD. to some extent did that,but for some datasets im getting message like "unable to delete datasets as Datasets are Deep Archived" i dont understand what is Deep Archived? and how to delete those datasets? Hope you guys understand my problem?? please provide me the solutions for the same |

Hey Kishore,
Try using HDELETE ' File name'.. i think it will delete the file without recalling it...

HDELETE command delete the migrated dataset without recalling it.

Hi all
Thanks for ur information. i did use the same command to delete the datasets. but few are giving like "unable to delete as they were DEEP ARCHIVED" . can you guys explain me what it means and how to delete these datasets???this is urgent requirement??? |
