Hi All
I'm having a reorg job for a partioned tablespace(10 partitions). The tablespace is having non-patitioned indexes too. Now i have a doubt that when i do a reorg of this tablespace, in the rebuild phase how the non-patitioned indexes will be reorged.
thnx!! |

Hello,
When the reorgis done, the non-partitioned indexes should be handled automatically.
Possibly i don't understand the question. |

The complete index will (have to) be rebuild. Even when you only reorg 1 partition. |

Thank You GuyC. One more thing i want to ask, say my tablespace is having more than 1 partitions, then one the indexes have been rebuild for partition 1, will the NPI's will again be rebuild for second and other partitions?
If yes, what will be the best way to keep this repetative rebuilding at bay?
thanx again. |
